Today, we received the results of our re-appraisal.

It came in nearly $60,000 *above* what we paid for the house 2 years ago.

Given the state of the world, I am extremely relieved, even if this all feels like just a bit too much appreciation. I mean, how is that possible?

I will say, though, that twice mentioned in the appraisal was...can you guess who?

The Murphy bed added value to the house.

And R wanted a daybed. Psshhh.

I was just about to go on and on about how surreal this all feels (does this mean we can remodel the KITCHEN?? Please say yes), but then I realized that you have added a subtitle to the Bungalove site. Dude--no. "mod-mission style"? really? we need to say that out loud?

And if you don't put us on Rate My Space soon, I will cry.

And--it's like 75 degrees already. It's gorgeous out. WAKE UP SO WE CAN GO TO THE FASHION MALL. Heh. I bet some of you thought I was going to say "hiking."

did you want to keep our mod mission style a secret?

Hi, I see your "compromise." Better.

i'm thrilled to hear about your appreciation, but even more thrilled to hear that you've chosen the mall over nature, since that's exactly what we did yesterday on the first 75-degree day of the year.

awesome! I would give anything to be able to rely on the "Sorry, fake legs!" or "oops, got learning-to-walk-again rehab" as an excuse to play mall Donkey Kong rather than, er, go to the park or participate in some heinous game of interdepartmental softball. (as if)

But of course when I say "give anything," I do mean, "except be in the horrific accident you were in." Which really just means, I'm thrilled you're thrilled at our shallowness, too. We're kinda into it, too.
